On Thursday, July 21st, HEVI held its first-ever event – the HEVI Summer Bash 2022!

Held on the SFA campus in East Windsor, the Summer Bash saw some great attendance on one of the hottest days of this year. Despite temperatures hitting 100 degrees, everyone who came through had a great time!

Arriving at the event, guests were greeted by two of HEVI’s all-electric behemoths. Flying a HEVI banner was the GEX-8000 excavator, capable of lifting 8-tons. But most guests were focused on the recently launched GEL-5000, a powerhouse of heavy equipment that was positioned front and center for everyone to see. All in attendance, adults and kids alike, enjoyed hopping into the cab to get a good look at the first commercially available all-electric wheel loader.

But what’s a summer party without a barbeque? Thanks to Mission BBQ, we all enjoyed big heapings of pulled pork, potato salad, beans, and cornbread. And when cooling off under our canopies wasn’t enough, everyone had Kona Ice to thank for a nice refreshing treat to help beat the heat.

With distinguished guests from organizations like Princeton NuEnergy, COPA-DATA USA Corp., Peak Construction, and others, we were happy to show off our products and entertain for an afternoon. We look forward to having everyone back for our next event!

As a small team, we were incredibly humbled and proud to see everyone’s responses to our all-electric heavy equipment. Thank you to everyone who came out in the sweltering heat to #jointhestampede, and a special thanks to SFA for allowing us to host this fantastic event.
